Utilizing the High ‘N Dry Size Chart

First, consider the last size wader that you wore; this a good place to start.  Not all brands follow the same sizing, and at HND we believe in precise sizing.   We offer Regular, Tall and Stout options, tailored individually to each size of boot giving you the best form fitting options without the bulk.

To understand the chart, there are a couple of things to consider.   Breathable waders are cut larger than neoprene because of the characteristics of the material.  The size of the chest wader is not going to look much like your jean size or your shirt size; they have to be cut larger for ease of movement and for clothing to be worn underneath.  Follow these simple steps and find the right wader for you.

1.  Start with the boot, if the boot doesn’t fit, nothing else will matter much.  Our boots fit true to size for most folks with a thick sock.
2.  Do you consider yourself of regular, tall or stout physique?  For many, this is a pretty easy decision.  To be on the safe side, or if you are not sure, there are really just a couple of important measurements.
–  Inseam.  2-5” longer than the jeans that you wear is optimal.
–  Waist and Chest.  Measure at the widest part.  Extra room is necessary for multiple layers.

If the wader upper looks too small, consider the stout or tall.  Another option is to size up; you can add your own insole for extra support, insulation and to tighten things up.  Half sizes typically order up.

Or course we don’t need to tell you, we are not all created alike.  If you need some help, send us an email at sales@hndoutdoors.com or give us a call at 833-HGH-N-DRY and we will do our best to get you sized properly.
